Power of Attorney
Administering an Estate

We can offer you access to a team of experienced will writing and probate solicitors.

They can help you with all your Later Life Planning needs such as Drafting a Will, Administering an Estate, and making a Power of Attorney.

Making a Will

An important part of Wealth Management is making provision for those you love in the event of your death.

Making a Will allows you to:

  • plan your estate

  • reduce your Inheritance Tax Liability

  • pass your assets on to those closest to you.

If you are an Executor of a Will or you are the closest blood-relative of someone who has died intestate (without a will), you may find yourself administering an estate (probate).  This can be a very difficult time, however you do not have to cope alone; a Wills and Probate Solicitor can guide you through the process.

Making a Lasting Power of Attorney

It is not something most of us like to think about but what would happen to your finances if you lost the ability to manage them yourself?  A Financial Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to appoint one or more ‘attorneys’, usually a relative or close friend, to manage your finances in the event that you are no longer able to do so.  This can include paying your mortgage and other bills, investing money on your behalf, arranging repairs to your property, and even selling your home. You may also want to consider a Health and Welfare Lasting Power of Attorney.  This allows your attorney to make decisions on behalf in relation to your medical care, where you should live, who you should have contact with, and what kind of social activities you should take part in.
